Ellis Kenney vs Hoang Tu

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/09/2037 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ellis Kenney (44 - 5) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Hoang Tu(1 - 5) from Hanoi, Vietnam.  

Round 1: 

Kenney advances into close range.  Tu throws a left hook, but Kenney holds on to his opponent.  Kenney pushes his forearm into Tu's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kenney lands with a ramrod jab.  
Tu connects with a left hook.  
Tu throws a left hook, but Kenney ties up his opponent.  Kenney uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Tu's kidney. The referee warns Kenney and breaks the clinch.  
Kenney closes the distance.  Tu connects with a left hook.  Kenney clinches his opponent.  Kenney leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kenney advances into close range.  Kenney pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kenney manages to force Tu into a corner.  Kenney connects with a stinging right hook.  
Kenney gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kenney is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Kenney connects with a right hook.  Kenney tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kenney pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.

Tu is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Kenney sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Kenney hits home with a cross.  
Kenney lands a right hook.  
Tu steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right.  
Tu throws a left hook, but Kenney holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kenney pushes his forearm into Tu's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kenney is on target with a cross.  
Tu steps to the outside.  Kenney attempts to land an overhand left, but Tu slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kenney closes the distance.  Tu is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Kenney ties up his opponent.  Tu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kenney hits home with a firm right hook.  
Kenney steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Kenney closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kenney lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.
