Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/09/2037 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (58(6) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Chris Rhys(0 - 4) from Lincoln, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib is looking to close the distance.  Craib pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rhys attempts to land a left hook, but Craib sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rhys is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Craib slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rhys is looking to keep his distance.  Craib lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Craib is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Craib retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Rhys is whaling away with hooks, but Craib keeps his defence tight.  Rhys digs in a left hook to Craib's body.  
Craib is looking to close the distance.  Rhys pivots to the left of his opponent, but Craib drives a right hook into Rhys's ribs.  
Rhys is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Craib lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rhys pivots to the right of his opponent, but Craib is on target with a cross.  
Craib closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Craib lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rhys throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Craib hits home with a stinging cross.  
Craib closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Craib clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rhys pushes his forearm into Craib's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Rhys now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Craib drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Craib lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Craib throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Rhys almost instantly recovers. 
Rhys throws a right hook, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rhys pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Craib's body.  
Rhys sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib connects with a left uppercut.  
Rhys steps away from his opponent.  Craib snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craib tries to land a jab, but Rhys parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
