Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/09/2037 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are James Mun (58(22) - 14) who hails from Port St. Lucie, USA and Rico Cueto(3 - 15(2)) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cueto attempts to land a jab, but Mun parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Mun steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mun throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Mun clinches his opponent.  Mun leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cueto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Mun is on target with a stinging cross.  
Cueto drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Cueto throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Mun clinches his opponent.  Mun uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cueto behind the head. As they grapple, Mun pushes his forearm into Cueto's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mun lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mun ties up his opponent.  Mun leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Mun's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mun is on target with a left hook.  
Cueto steps inside.  Mun tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mun digs in a solid left uppercut to Cueto's ribs.  
Cueto connects with a left uppercut.  
Cueto is on target with a left uppercut to Mun's body.  
Cueto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Mun digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mun lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Mun is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mun drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cueto advances into close range.  Mun lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mun lands a jab.  
Mun digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mun lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Mun clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mun pushes his forearm into Cueto's face.  The referee warns Mun and breaks the clinch.

Mun lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mun walks Cueto down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mun sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mun sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mun lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Mun gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  Mun holds on to his opponent.  Mun tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cueto behind the head.

Mun is looking to close the distance and drives a telling left hook into Cueto's body.  CUETO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.

Mun steps inside.  Cueto tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mun lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND KNOCKS CUETO DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Cueto is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Mun!
