Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/08/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Owen Stobie (46 - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ian Rintoul(4 - 12) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Rintoul gets on the inside.  Stobie hits home with a left hook.  
Stobie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rintoul lands a hard jab.  
Stobie attempts to land a jab, but Rintoul sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Stobie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Stobie switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Stobie tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Rintoul throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Stobie steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stobie sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Rintoul lands with a sharp jab.  
Stobie digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Rintoul throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Rintoul is looking to close the distance.  Stobie lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stobie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Rintoul steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Stobie tries to land a jab, but Rintoul parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stobie is on target with a sharp jab.  
Stobie lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rintoul is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rintoul throws a right hook, but Stobie clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rintoul pushes his forearm into Stobie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rintoul to stop fouling.
