John Oswald vs Bob Forrest

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/08/2037 from Macon, USA:

The Macon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Oswald (42 - 10) who hails from Augusta, USA and Bob Forrest(2 - 2) from Denver, USA.  

Round 1: 

Oswald is looking to close the distance.  Oswald pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Forrest quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Oswald is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Oswald advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Oswald walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Oswald drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Oswald clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Oswald pushes his forearm into Forrest's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Oswald.  
Forrest lands a left hook.  
Forrest pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Oswald tries to land a left hook, but Forrest parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Oswald advances into close range.  Forrest digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Oswald holds on to his opponent.  Forrest is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Forrest to stop fouling.  
Forrest pivots to the left of his opponent, but Oswald lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Oswald gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Oswald lands a left hook.  Oswald tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Forrest lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Oswald is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Forrest lands a cross.  
Oswald is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Oswald throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Oswald lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Oswald ties up his opponent.  Oswald leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
