Rob Craib vs Hiroki Higashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2037 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (56(6) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Hiroki Higashi(1 - 4) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Craib quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Craib slams a spiteful left hook into his opponents liver.  HIGASHI IS HURT!  Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Higashi almost instantly recovers. 
Craib walks Higashi onto the ropes.  Craib quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Craib lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Higashi's kidney. Higashi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Higashi and breaks the clinch.  
Craib switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Craib steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Higashi attempts to land a cross, but Craib sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Craib is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Higashi throws a left hook, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Higashi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Craib pushes his forearm into Higashi's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Craib lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Higashi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Craib lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIGASHI IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Higashi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Craib lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib pushes his forearm into Higashi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Craib is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Craib drives a firm right hook into Higashi's body.  
Craib is on target with a solid jab.  
Craib steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Craib lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Higashi advances into close range.  Higashi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Higashi throws a left hook, but Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent using all his weight. Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Craib advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HIGASHI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Craib clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Higashi closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Higashi behind the head. The ref breaks Craib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Craib switches the action to the outside.  Higashi attempts to land a cross, but Craib sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Higashi finds the target with a jab.  
Craib steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Higashi sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HIGASHI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Higashi almost instantly recovers. 
Higashi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Craib is on target with a left hook.  
Higashi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Higashi behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.

Craib is on target with a solid right hook.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Higashi behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Craib.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Higashi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
