Mark Loredo vs Davie Sterling

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/07/2037 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Loredo (34 - 14) who hails from San Jose, USA and Davie Sterling(0 - 1) from Jacksonville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Loredo advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sterling lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Loredo gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Sterling steps away from his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.

Loredo digs in a stinging left uppercut to Sterling's body.  
Loredo pivots to the side of his opponent, but Sterling digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Loredo walks Sterling into a neutral corner.  Loredo connects with a stinging left hook.  
Sterling attempts to land a right hook, but Loredo slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Loredo is on target with a firm right uppercut.  Loredo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Loredo pushes his forearm into Sterling's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Loredo about fouling.  
Loredo cuts off the ring, trapping Sterling on the ropes.  Loredo hits home with a right hook.  
Loredo lands a sharp left hook.  Loredo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sterling pushes his forearm into Loredo's face.  The ref breaks Loredo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Loredo gets on the inside.  Sterling throws a right uppercut, but Loredo clinches his opponent.  Sterling is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sterling hits home with a stiff jab.  
Loredo lands with a ramrod jab.  
Loredo steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Loredo lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sterling quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Loredo advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Loredo closes the distance.  Sterling throws a right uppercut, but Loredo ties up his opponent.  Loredo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sterling behind the head. 
Loredo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Loredo walks Sterling onto the ropes.  Sterling attempts to land a left uppercut, but Loredo slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sterling's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
