Roscoe Larsen vs Jawad Haque

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/05/2037 from Oslo, Norway:

The Oslo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roscoe Larsen (35(10) - 5) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Jawad Haque(2 - 2) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Larsen closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Larsen ties up his opponent.  Haque throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Larsen pushes his forearm into Haque's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Larsen about fouling.  
Haque attempts to land a jab, but Larsen slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Haque attempts to land a right hook, but Larsen sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Larsen lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Larsen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Larsen clinches his opponent.  Larsen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Larsen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Haque steps to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.  
Larsen advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Larsen clinches his opponent.  Larsen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Haque behind the head. Larsen pushes his forearm into Haque's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Haque connects with a right hook.  Larsen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Larsen pushes his forearm into Haque's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Larsen.  
Larsen cuts off the ring, trapping Haque on the ropes.  Larsen lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Larsen connects with a solid left hook.  
Larsen closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Larsen lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Haque tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand left.  
Larsen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Larsen is on target with a solid left uppercut to Haque's body.  
Larsen closes the distance.  Haque lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Larsen finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Larsen slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents body.  HAQUE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Larsen knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Larsen lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, KNOCKING HAQUE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Haque now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Larsen is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Larsen steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Larsen steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Larsen is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Larsen lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Larsen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HAQUE IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Larsen cuts off the ring, trapping Haque in the corner.  Larsen connects with a firm left hook.  
Larsen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Larsen knows Haque is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Larsen lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, DROPPING HAQUE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Haque now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Larsen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Larsen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Larsen drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Larsen lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Larsen drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Larsen throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Larsen drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Haque hits home with a right hook.  Haque tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Larsen is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Larsen manouvers Haque into a neutral corner.  Larsen connects with a firm left hook.  
Larsen crashes a mean right hook to Haque's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAQUE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Haque recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Larsen lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Larsen is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Haque's body.  HAQUE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Larsen senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Haque and just needs the right shot.  Larsen lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS HAQUE!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Larsen!
