Paul Brash vs Ian Rintoul

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/05/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Brash (34 - 10) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Ian Rintoul(3 - 10) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Brash steps inside.  Brash sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Brash lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Brash closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Brash is on target with a right hook.  
Brash steps inside.  Rintoul throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Brash lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rintoul sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Brash drives a right hook into Rintoul's body.  
Brash drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Brash lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rintoul is on target with a jab.  Rintoul attempts to land a jab, but Brash blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Brash advances into close range.  Brash quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rintoul steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left.  
Brash hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Brash steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Rintoul lands with a solid jab.  Rintoul attempts to land a jab, but Brash sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Brash steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brash lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rintoul steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Brash steps inside.  Rintoul throws a right hook, but Brash holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Brash pushes his forearm into Rintoul's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Round 2: 

Rintoul tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Brash steps inside.  Rintoul throws a right uppercut, but Brash clinches his opponent.  Brash tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rintoul behind the head. Brash is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brash.  
Brash lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brash lands a stinging jab.  
Brash gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Brash is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Brash closes the distance.  Brash pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Rintoul lands a jab.  Rintoul attempts to land a cross, but Brash slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Brash forces Rintoul to back into the ropes.  Rintoul lands a stinging right hook.  
Brash lands a firm right hook.  
Brash closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brash is on target with a left hook.  
Brash drives a right hook into Rintoul's body.  Brash holds on to his opponent.  Brash leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Brash's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Brash lands a right hook.  
Brash lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brash lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Brash holds on to his opponent.  Brash uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rintoul behind the head. Rintoul almost instantly recovers. 
Rintoul throws a left uppercut, but Brash ties up his opponent.  Rintoul pushes his forearm into Brash's face.  The referee warns Rintoul and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rintoul's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Brash lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Brash ties up his opponent.  Rintoul uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Brash's kidney. The ref breaks Brash's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Brash connects with a stinging right hook.  
Brash is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Brash lands a right hook.  
Brash gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Brash hits home with a cross.  
Brash walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Brash lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Brash clinches his opponent.  Brash leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Brash pushes his forearm into Rintoul's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Brash to stop fouling.
