Stuart McClurg vs Xavion Aligmayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/05/2037 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Stuart McClurg (2 - 0) who hails from Bradford, UK and Xavion Aligmayo(3 - 3) from Batangas City, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Aligmayo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
McClurg sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Aligmayo throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
McClurg lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Aligmayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Aligmayo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Aligmayo gets on the inside and forces McClurg to retreat into the corner.  McClurg lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
McClurg feints a right hook, and then lands a solid jab.  
McClurg finds the target with a jab.  
McClurg feints a left, and then lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Aligmayo is on target with a jab.

McClurg quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aligmayo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Aligmayo manages to force McClurg onto the ropes.  Aligmayo pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
McClurg drives a right hook into Aligmayo's body.  
Aligmayo attempts to land a jab, but McClurg sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.

McClurg feints a left, and then lands a sharp cross.  
McClurg connects with a cross.  
Aligmayo closes the distance.  Aligmayo pivots to the right of his opponent, but McClurg drives a powerful right hook into Aligmayo's body.  ALIGMAYO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Aligmayo's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

McClurg is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Aligmayo drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Aligmayo advances into close range and forces McClurg to back into the corner.  Aligmayo connects with a right hook.  
Aligmayo lands with a stiff jab.  
Aligmayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.
