Dave Croy vs Chris McNeilly

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/05/2037 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Croy (10 - 9) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Chris McNeilly(1 - 1) from Lowell, USA.  

Round 1: 

Croy switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Croy lands with a stiff jab.  
Croy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
McNeilly steps inside.  Croy connects with a right hook.  
McNeilly closes the distance.  Croy lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Croy steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  Croy attempts to land a jab, but McNeilly slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Croy's ribs.  
McNeilly walks Croy down, trapping him on the ropes.  Croy throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores McNeilly's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Croy strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
McNeilly hits home with a left hook.  
Croy connects with a left uppercut.  
Croy feints a jab, fooling McNeilly into throwing a cross counter.  Croy springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Croy lands a jab.

McNeilly pivots from in front of his opponent, but Croy drives a left hook into McNeilly's liver.  
McNeilly is on target with a right hook.  McNeilly throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Croy's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  McNeilly's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
