Robert Lewison vs Richard Fitzroy

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/04/2037 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Lewison (43 - 6) who hails from New York City, USA and Richard Fitzroy(0 - 4) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Fitzroy is on target with a left hook.  
Fitzroy lands a jab.  
Lewison gets on the inside.  Lewison pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Fitzroy's body.  
Lewison walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Lewison is on target with a right hook.  
Lewison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Lewison steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Fitzroy accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Lewison.  
Fitzroy throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lewison is looking to close the distance.  Fitzroy pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lewison lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Lewison clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Fitzroy pushes his forearm into Lewison's face.  The referee warns Fitzroy and breaks the clinch.  
Fitzroy feints a cross, and then tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lewison steps inside and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lewison hits home with a sharp jab.  
Lewison is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lewison's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
