Lee Mubako vs Lloyd Nyumbu

Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/04/2037 from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe:

The Bulawayo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lee Mubako (2 - 2) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Lloyd Nyumbu(20(3) - 29) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Nyumbu is on target with a jab.  
Nyumbu steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mubako is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Nyumbu steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nyumbu is on target with a right hook.  
Nyumbu steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mubako tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mubako is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mubako quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Nyumbu manouvers Mubako into the red corner.  Nyumbu digs in a left hook to Mubako's body.  
Nyumbu lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mubako recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nyumbu lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Nyumbu ties up his opponent.  Nyumbu uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mubako's kidney. 
Mubako throws a left hook, but Nyumbu ties up his opponent.  Nyumbu throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Nyumbu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nyumbu lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Nyumbu lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nyumbu closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nyumbu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Mubako steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Nyumbu closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Mubako's liver.  
Nyumbu advances into close range.  Mubako throws a left hook, but Nyumbu holds on to his opponent.  Nyumbu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Nyumbu closes the distance and whips in a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  MUBAKO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Nyumbu advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mubako is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Mubako switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Nyumbu is looking to close the distance and walks Mubako down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nyumbu pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right uppercut to Mubako's body.  
Nyumbu drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mubako throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Nyumbu lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Nyumbu closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Nyumbu holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nyumbu pushes his forearm into Mubako's face.  The ref breaks Nyumbu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mubako is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a firm cross.  
Nyumbu steps inside and manages to force Mubako onto the ropes.  Nyumbu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Mubako's body.

Nyumbu lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Nyumbu clinches his opponent.  Nyumbu pushes his forearm into Mubako's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nyumbu to stop fouling.

Nyumbu senses Mubako is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Nyumbu lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES MUBAKO!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Mubako now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Nyumbu is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nyumbu is on target with a left hook to Mubako's liver.  
Nyumbu is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Nyumbu stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Nyumbu is on target with a weighty left uppercut to Mubako's body.  MUBAKO IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Nyumbu!
