Alik Slifko vs Bohdan Chura

Boxing Daily Report from the Ukraine National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/04/2037 from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine:

The Kryvyi Rih venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alik Slifko (7 - 7) who hails from Zaporizhia, Ukraine and Bohdan Chura(26(4) - 7) from Odessa, Ukraine.  

Round 1: 

Chura closes the distance.  Slifko hits home with a left uppercut.  
Chura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chura cuts off the ring, trapping Slifko in a neutral corner.  Chura hits home with a right uppercut.  
Chura pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Chura advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Chura thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Slifko away.  Chura lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chura manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Chura lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Chura thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Slifko away.  Chura slams a mean right uppercut into his opponents body.  SLIFKO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Slifko has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Slifko throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Chura lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Chura clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Chura pushes his forearm into Slifko's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chura lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chura throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Chura clinches his opponent.  Chura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Chura and breaks the clinch.  
Slifko is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Chura is on target with an overhand right.  
Chura closes the distance.  Chura sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Chura steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chura drives a left hook into Slifko's liver.  Chura holds on to his opponent.  Chura is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Slifko is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Chura ties up his opponent.  Chura leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Chura tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Slifko behind the head. 
Chura hits home with a left hook.  
Chura crashes a big left hook to Slifko's body.  SLIFKO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Slifko sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Chura hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Chura closes the distance.  Slifko tries to land a right hook, but Chura dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Chura is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  Chura clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chura's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
