The Bristol venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam McConnel (12 - 25(1)) who hails from London, UK and Max Rhys(30(12) - 11) from Cardiff, UK.

McConnel throws a left hook, but Rhys holds on to his opponent.  Rhys leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Rhys closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  Rhys tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Rhys drives a right hook into McConnel's ribs.  
Rhys walks McConnel down, trapping him on the ropes.  McConnel throws a left hook, but Rhys ties up his opponent.  Rhys leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Rhys knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rhys lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DROPS MCCONNEL!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like McConnel has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Rhys closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES MCCONNEL!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  McConnel almost instantly recovers. 
Rhys forces McConnel to retreat onto the ropes.  Rhys lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
McConnel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rhys closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Rhys ties up his opponent.  Rhys leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rhys knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rhys whips in a DEVASTATING right hook to McConnel's body.  MCCONNEL IS DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE MCCONNEL CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Rhys!
