Dong-jun Gang vs Bum-young Ye

Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/04/2037 from Anyang, South Korea:

The Anyang venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dong-jun Gang (12 - 12(1)) who hails from Daejeon, South Korea and Bum-young Ye(28(5) - 24(1)) from Changwon, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Gang is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Ye clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ye pushes his forearm into Gang's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ye about fouling.  
Gang throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Gang's ribcage.  
Gang throws a right hook, but Ye clinches his opponent.  Ye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ye lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gang tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ye steps inside and digs in a sharp right uppercut to Gang's body.  
Ye lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ye lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gang is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Gang switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ye steps inside and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Ye hits home with a left uppercut.  Ye holds on to his opponent.  Gang leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gang pushes his forearm into Ye's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gang.  
Gang is on target with a solid cross.  
Gang tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Ye is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ye hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ye drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Ye forces Gang to back into the ropes.  Gang throws a left hook, but Ye ties up his opponent.  Ye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ye drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ye lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ye is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Ye lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Gang tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Ye manages to force Gang onto the ropes.  Ye is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Gang's ribs.  
Gang tries to keep the action at long range and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Ye digs in a left hook to Gang's ribs.  
Gang hits home with a firm left hook.  
Ye goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Gang's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Gang tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Ye slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Round 2: 

Ye advances into close range.  Gang throws a left hook, but Ye clinches his opponent.  Gang uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ye behind the head. 
Ye hits home with a solid left hook.  
Gang steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Ye gets on the inside and walks Gang down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ye pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Ye senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Gang and just needs the right shot.  Ye lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS GANG TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Gang now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ye lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ye clinches his opponent.  Gang leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Some sustained pressure from Ye could be enough to finish Gang!  Ye lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND DOWN GOES GANG!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Ye!
