Alastair Casey vs Noel Hearn

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/04/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (43 - 7) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Noel Hearn(7 - 22) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Casey lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Casey closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Casey advances into close range.  Hearn connects with a left hook.  
Casey is on target with a solid left hook.  
Casey lands a left uppercut.  
Casey lands a left hook.  
Hearn throws a right hook, but Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey pushes his forearm into Hearn's face.  The referee warns Casey and breaks the clinch.  
Hearn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hearn tries to land a left uppercut, but Casey dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Casey is looking to close the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Casey finds the target with a hard jab.  
Casey hits home with a solid jab.  
Casey steps inside.  Hearn is on target with a right uppercut.  
Hearn hits home with a cross.  Hearn throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Casey lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Casey connects with a firm left hook.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hearn's kidney. Hearn pushes his forearm into Casey's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Casey manages to force Hearn into a corner.  Casey finds the target with a jab.  
Casey advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Casey holds on to his opponent.  Casey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Casey tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hearn behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Casey to stop fouling.  
Casey is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Casey drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Casey attempts to land a right hook, but Hearn blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Casey throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Casey's body.  
Casey drives a right hook into Hearn's ribcage.

Casey throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Casey ties up his opponent.  Casey tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hearn behind the head. 
Casey steps inside.  Casey pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Casey lands a cross.  
Casey lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Casey lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey pushes his forearm into Hearn's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Casey to stop fouling.  
Casey manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Casey drives a stinging left uppercut into Hearn's body.  
Casey lands a cross.  
Casey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Casey digs in a sharp left hook to Hearn's ribs.  
Casey is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Casey digs in a left hook to Hearn's body.  
Casey gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Hearn is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Casey finds the target with a jab.  
Casey steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  HEARN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hearn quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hearn's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Casey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Casey digs in a right hook to Hearn's body.  
Hearn throws a right uppercut, but Casey clinches his opponent.  Casey is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Casey SLAMS a hurtful left hook into his opponents face.  HEARN IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Casey!
