Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/04/2037 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jamie Oliphant (9 - 7) who hails from Huntington Beach, USA and Selestino Villela(1 - 13) from San Diego, USA.  

Round 1: 

Oliphant circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Villela hits home with a sharp cross.

Oliphant walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Oliphant pivots to the side of his opponent, but Villela is on target with a right hook.

Oliphant forces Villela to back into a corner.  Oliphant lands a right hook.  
Oliphant pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.

Villela is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land an overhand left, but Oliphant sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Oliphant closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Oliphant closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Villela is on target with a stinging cross.  
Oliphant backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Villela accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Oliphant.  
Villela is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Villela tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Villela quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Villela is on target with a left uppercut.  Villela attempts to land a cross, but Oliphant blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Oliphant's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
