Lee Dredge vs John Caudill

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/04/2037 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lee Dredge (40 - 10) who hails from Dallas, USA and John Caudill(1 - 4) from Pueblo, USA.  

Round 1: 

Dredge pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Caudill's ribcage.

Caudill gets on the inside.  Dredge lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Caudill forces Dredge to retreat onto the ropes.  Caudill sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Caudill tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Caudill advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Caudill pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.

Caudill leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Dredge pushes his forearm into Caudill's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dredge about fouling.
