Quin Ruano vs Mikko Rajala

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/04/2037 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quin Ruano (49(18) - 8) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Mikko Rajala(4 - 11) from Espoo, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Rajala throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Ruano lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Rajala digs in a left uppercut to Ruano's body.  
Ruano lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Ruano lands a left hook.  
Ruano is on target with a right hook.  
Ruano digs in a left hook to Rajala's ribs.  
Rajala advances into close range.  Ruano lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rajala lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ruano closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Ruano drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Ruano clinches his opponent.  Ruano pushes his forearm into Rajala's face.  The referee warns Ruano and breaks the clinch.  
Ruano connects with a right uppercut.  
Ruano lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Ruano holds on to his opponent.  Ruano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ruano throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ruano slams a big left uppercut into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAJALA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ruano clinches his opponent.  Ruano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Rajala recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ruano lands a stinging left hook.  
Ruano manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ruano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ruano lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ruano attempts to land a right hook, but Rajala parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ruano stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ruano lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS RAJALA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Ruano SLAMS a FIERCE left hook into his opponents face.  RAJALA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ruano!
