Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/04/2037 from Arequipa, Peru:

The Arequipa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joaquin Custodio (1 - 18) who hails from Lima, Peru and Santiago Pedregon(11 - 18(1)) from Lima, Peru.

Pedregon steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Pedregon is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Custodio is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Custodio hits home with a solid right hook.  
Pedregon lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Pedregon lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Custodio switches the action to the outside and connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Custodio gets on the inside.  Pedregon attempts to land a right hook, but Custodio blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Custodio throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Custodio advances into close range.  Pedregon lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Pedregon pivots from in front of his opponent, but Custodio lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Custodio steps inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Pedregon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Custodio throws a right hook, but Pedregon holds on to his opponent.  Custodio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Custodio.  
Custodio digs in a firm left hook to Pedregon's body.  Pedregon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pedregon pushes his forearm into Custodio's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pedregon about fouling.
