Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/04/2037 from Leon, Nicaragua:

The Leon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Sergio (18(2) - 15) who hails from Tipitapa, Nicaragua and Juan Diaz(13 - 22) from Managua, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Sergio gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left hook to Diaz's body.

Sergio advances into close range.  Sergio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sergio digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.

Sergio is looking to close the distance.  Diaz hits home with a left hook.  Sergio clinches his opponent.  Diaz tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sergio behind the head.

Diaz tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sergio lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Diaz quickly recovers.

Sergio thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Diaz away.  Sergio slams a mean left hook into his opponents ribs.  DIAZ IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT DIAZ CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Sergio!
