Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/04/2037 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iago Maximo (18 - 9) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Barry Black(1 - 32(1)) from Baton Rouge, USA.  

Round 1: 

Maximo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Maximo attempts to land a left hook, but Black sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Maximo lands with a solid jab.  
Maximo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.

Maximo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging right uppercut to Black's ribcage.  
Maximo lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Maximo pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Maximo cuts off the ring, trapping Black on the ropes.  Maximo lands a left uppercut.  
Maximo drives a right hook into Black's ribcage.

Black walks Maximo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Black sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but  throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Black time to recover.  
Maximo advances into close range and connects with a solid left hook.

Black is on target with a right uppercut.  
Maximo hits home with a cross.  
Black throws a right uppercut, but Maximo holds on to his opponent.  Maximo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
