David Scroggie vs Ernest Kahmann

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/04/2037 from Macon, USA:

The Macon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Scroggie (44 - 7) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Ernest Kahmann(1 - 1) from Graz, Austria.  

Round 1: 

Scroggie lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Scroggie lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Scroggie feints a cross and triggers a left uppercut counter from Kahmann.  Scroggie is waiting for the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Scroggie switches the action to the outside.  Kahmann attempts to land a cross, but Scroggie parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Scroggie hits the target with a spiteful jab.  Scroggie throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kahmann tries to land a jab, but Scroggie slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to Kahmann's ribcage.  
Scroggie feints a left, and then lands a cross.  
Scroggie hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Kahmann closes the distance.  Scroggie is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kahmann gets on the inside and forces Scroggie to back into a corner.  Scroggie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Scroggie is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Scroggie feints a left hook, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Scroggie feints a right, and then is on target with a jab.  
Kahmann throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Kahmann closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Scroggie on the ropes.  Kahmann connects with a left hook.

Kahmann steps inside and throws a left hook, but Scroggie holds on to his opponent.  Kahmann leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Scroggie steps to the outside.  Scroggie feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Scroggie hits home with a cross.  
Scroggie is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Kahmann attempts to land an overhand right, but Scroggie blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kahmann forces Scroggie to back into the ropes.  Scroggie is on target with a right hook.  
Kahmann steps inside and throws a left hook, but Scroggie ties up his opponent.  Scroggie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Kahmann closes the distance.  Scroggie throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Scroggie holds on to his opponent.  Scroggie throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Scroggie and breaks the clinch.  
Scroggie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kahmann walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kahmann quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Scroggie hits home with a cross.  
Scroggie steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Scroggie feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Scroggie lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Scroggie feints a left hook, and then hits the target with a spiteful jab.
