Francois Bernanos vs Gage Begue

Boxing Daily Report from the France National Finals 2037,  taking place on 29/03/2037 from Mulhouse, France:

The Mulhouse venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Francois Bernanos (53(7) - 35(1)) who hails from Rennes, France and Gage Begue(7 - 2) from Paris, France.  

Round 1:

Begue gets on the inside.  Begue sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Begue tries to land a left hook, but Bernanos dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to Begue's ribs.  
Begue is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  Begue throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Begue tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Begue pivots to the right of his opponent.  Begue throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Bernanos gets on the inside and slams a nasty right hook into Begue's ribcage.  BEGUE IS HURT!  Begue almost instantly recovers. 
Begue lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Begue pivots to the right of his opponent.  Begue hits home with a cross.  Begue attempts to land a cross, but Bernanos slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Begue pivots to the left of his opponent, but Bernanos lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Bernanos stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Bernanos drives a powerful right uppercut into his opponents body.  BEGUE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Begue steps inside.  Bernanos crashes a spiteful left uppercut to Begue's body.  BEGUE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Bernanos crashes a DEVASTATING right hook to Begue's ribs.  BEGUE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE BEGUE CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Bernanos!
