Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2037,  taking place on 29/03/2037 from Ruiru, Kenya:

The Ruiru venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Darryl Olita (33(14) - 8) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Jamie Awuor(3 - 11) from Kisumu, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Olita lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Olita is looking to close the distance.  Awuor tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left hook.  AWUOR IS HURT!  Awuor almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Olita drives a right hook into Awuor's body.  
Awuor throws a left hook, but Olita clinches his opponent.  Olita pushes his forearm into Awuor's face.  The ref breaks Olita's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Olita sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Olita lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Awuor quickly recovers. 
Olita lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Olita holds on to his opponent.  Olita uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Awuor behind the head. Olita leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
