Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/03/2037 from Ruiru, Kenya:

The Ruiru venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Darryl Olita (32(13) - 8) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Ricky Bahari(15(4) - 6(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  

Round 1:

Olita is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Bahari recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Olita closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Olita lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Olita closes the distance.  Olita knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Olita whips in a big right hook to his opponents ribcage.  DOWN GOES BAHARI!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Bahari has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Olita is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Olita walks Bahari down, trapping him in the red corner.  Bahari throws a right hook, but Olita holds on to his opponent.  Olita is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Olita and breaks the clinch.  
Olita lands a solid right hook.  
Olita drives a left uppercut into Bahari's body.  
Bahari lands a left hook.  
Olita is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  Olita clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Olita pushes his forearm into Bahari's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Olita about fouling.
