Nico Florenzi vs Nico Ricci

Boxing Daily Report from the Italy National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/03/2037 from Prato, Italy:

The Prato venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nico Florenzi (20(2) - 5) who hails from Milan, Italy and Nico Ricci(20 - 12) from Naples, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Ricci gets on the inside.  Ricci sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Florenzi is on target with a right hook.

Florenzi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ricci connects with an overhand left.  Ricci throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ricci gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Ricci pivots to the right of his opponent, but Florenzi drives a firm left hook into Ricci's liver.  
Florenzi hits home with a stinging jab.  
Ricci steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to Florenzi's ribcage.  Ricci attempts to land a right hook, but Florenzi blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ricci manouvers Florenzi onto the ropes.  Ricci pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ricci digs in a sharp left uppercut to Florenzi's body.  Florenzi clinches his opponent.  Florenzi leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Florenzi pushes his forearm into Ricci's face.  The referee warns Florenzi and breaks the clinch.  
Ricci advances into close range.  Florenzi hits home with a right hook.  
Florenzi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ricci is on target with a jab.  
Ricci manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ricci pivots to the side of his opponent.  Florenzi is on target with a solid right hook.  Florenzi tries to land a right hook, but Ricci dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Florenzi steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ricci finds the target with a jab.
