Boxing Daily Report from the Italy National Finals 2037,  taking place on 26/03/2037 from Prato, Italy:

The Prato venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nico Ramponi (3 - 1) who hails from Florence, Italy and Vittore Cuffaro(21 - 6(1)) from Genoa, Italy.

Cuffaro gets on the inside and walks his opponent into the corner.  Ramponi throws a left uppercut, but Cuffaro holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cuffaro pushes his forearm into Ramponi's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cuffaro steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Cuffaro tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ramponi tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ramponi tries to keep the action at long range.  Ramponi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Cuffaro lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.

Cuffaro is looking to close the distance.  Ramponi throws a left hook, but Cuffaro holds on to his opponent.  Cuffaro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Cuffaro walks Ramponi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cuffaro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ramponi tries to land a left hook, but Cuffaro parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cuffaro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND SENDS RAMPONI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Cuffaro!
