Chris Cameron vs Charles Speirs

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/03/2037 from Charleston, USA:

The Charleston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Cameron (11 - 5) who hails from Charleston, USA and Charles Speirs(1 - 4) from Detroit, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cameron switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Speirs sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Cameron lands a sharp cross.

Speirs strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Speirs throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Cameron's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Speirs steps inside.  Cameron is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Speirs lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Speirs throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Cameron is on target with a left hook.  
Cameron hits home with a cross.  
Cameron lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Cameron switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Speirs walks Cameron onto the ropes.  Speirs circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Cameron drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Speirs manages to force Cameron onto the ropes.  Cameron lands a left uppercut.  
Speirs is looking to close the distance.  Speirs pivots from in front of his opponent, but Cameron lands a stinging right hook.  
Speirs walks Cameron down, trapping him in a corner.  Cameron hits the target with a sharp jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cameron's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Speirs sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Speirs throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook to Speirs's body.  
Cameron attempts to land a jab, but Speirs dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Speirs walks Cameron onto the ropes.  Cameron lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Speirs pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
