Ethan Cormack vs Malcolm Gwenn

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/03/2037 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ethan Cormack (18 - 3) who hails from San Diego, USA and Malcolm Gwenn(0 - 8) from Lincoln, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cormack switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  Cormack tries to land a jab, but Gwenn sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Cormack lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Gwenn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cormack finds the target with a jab.  Cormack tries to land a jab, but Gwenn slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cormack lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cormack switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Gwenn steps away from his opponent.  Cormack lands with a ramrod jab.  
Gwenn lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Cormack is on target with a ramrod jab.  Cormack tries to land a cross, but Gwenn slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Cormack closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cormack finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Cormack lands a hard jab.  
Cormack hits home with a solid jab.  
Cormack throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Gwenn switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Gwenn steps to the outside.  Cormack attempts to land a jab, but Gwenn slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gwenn hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Cormack switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Cormack steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cormack's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Gwenn's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
