Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/03/2037 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cole Thaw (40(1) - 12) who hails from Houston, USA and Zacarias Cubero(2 - 10) from Pembroke Pines, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cubero gets on the inside.  Thaw lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Thaw lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Thaw tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Thaw tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Thaw is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cubero hits home with an overhand left.  
Cubero is looking to close the distance and forces Thaw to retreat into the red corner.  Thaw attempts to land a right hook, but Cubero blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Thaw lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Thaw digs in a firm left hook to Cubero's ribs.  
Thaw hits home with a firm cross.  
Cubero gets on the inside and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Cubero manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Cubero attempts to land a left uppercut, but Thaw blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cubero throws a left hook, but Thaw clinches his opponent.  Thaw leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Thaw's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cubero connects with a firm cross.  
Thaw is on target with a firm right hook.

Round 2: 

Cubero is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Thaw ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Thaw pushes his forearm into Cubero's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Thaw.  
Cubero advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Thaw holds on to his opponent.  Cubero is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Thaw's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Thaw tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cubero gets on the inside and forces Thaw to retreat onto the ropes.  Cubero sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Thaw lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Thaw sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Cubero connects with a stinging left hook.  
Thaw is looking to keep his distance.  Thaw quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Thaw tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cubero advances into close range.  Cubero sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Thaw throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Thaw clinches his opponent.  Cubero pushes his forearm into Thaw's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cubero closes the distance and manouvers Thaw onto the ropes.  Cubero throws a right hook, but Thaw ties up his opponent.  Cubero tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Thaw behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Thaw throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cubero attempts to land a cross, but Thaw parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Thaw tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cubero's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Cubero steps inside.  Thaw throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Thaw holds on to his opponent.  Thaw leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cubero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Thaw steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cubero hits home with a firm left hook.
