Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/03/2037 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Jerden (8 - 3) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Selestino Villela(1 - 4) from San Diego, USA.

Jerden closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Jerden pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Jerden gets on the inside.  Jerden pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Jerden sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Villela's body.  
Jerden steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Villela tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Jerden closes the distance.  Jerden pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Jerden is looking to close the distance.  Jerden pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden is on target with a stinging jab.  
Villela tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Villela is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Jerden advances into close range.  Jerden leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Villela steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Villela sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
Jerden advances into close range and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jerden closes the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to Villela's body.  
Villela pivots to the side of his opponent, but Jerden is on target with a cross.  
Jerden lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Jerden is on target with a firm cross.  
Jerden lands with a solid jab.  
Jerden steps inside.  Villela sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Villela attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Jerden's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Villela's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
