The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Guillermo Abella (16 - 5) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Fedor Ponomarenko(1 - 2(1)) from Novosibirsk, Russia.

Abella tries to land a cross, but Ponomarenko slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abella hits home with a firm left hook.  
Abella manouvers Ponomarenko into the corner.  Abella is on target with a right hook.  
Abella forces Ponomarenko to back into the corner.  Abella digs in a firm right hook to Ponomarenko's body.  
Abella closes the distance and connects with a left hook.

Abella sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ponomarenko throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Abella to the neutral corner.  He tells Ponomarenko he will lose a point if he continues to foul.

Abella pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.
