Arseni Barnick vs Sergei Perun

Boxing Daily Report from the Belarus National Finals 2037,  taking place on 14/03/2037 from Gomel, Belarus:

The Gomel venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Arseni Barnick (16 - 9(1)) who hails from Mogilev, Belarus and Sergei Perun(14(4) - 6) from Minsk, Belarus.  

Round 1:

Barnick is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Perun blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Perun is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Perun lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS BARNICK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Barnick has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Perun is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Perun ties up his opponent.  Barnick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Barnick switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.

Barnick throws a left uppercut, but Perun clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Barnick pushes his forearm into Perun's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Barnick about fouling.

Barnick leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Perun pushes his forearm into Barnick's face.  The referee warns Perun and breaks the clinch.
