The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.

Flanagan is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Flanagan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Flanagan manages to force Hettrick onto the ropes.  Hettrick throws a left hook, but Flanagan clinches his opponent.  Flanagan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hettrick attempts to land a left hook, but Flanagan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Flanagan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Flanagan closes the distance.  Hettrick throws a left hook, but Flanagan clinches his opponent.  Flanagan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Flanagan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hettrick behind the head.

Flanagan throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Flanagan clinches his opponent.  Flanagan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hettrick behind the head. The referee warns Flanagan and breaks the clinch.

Flanagan lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS HETTRICK TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Flanagan!
