The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quin Ruano (48(17) - 8) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Fedor Ponomarenko(1 - 1) from Novosibirsk, Russia.

Ruano steps inside.  Ponomarenko connects with a left hook.  Ponomarenko throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ruano lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ruano is on target with a firm right hook to Ponomarenko's body.  
Ponomarenko throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ruano clinches his opponent.  Ruano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Ruano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ruano lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ruano is looking to close the distance and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Ponomarenko tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ruano digs in a left hook to Ponomarenko's body.  Ruano ties up his opponent.  Ruano pushes his forearm into Ponomarenko's face.  The ref breaks Ruano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ruano advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.

Ruano snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Ruano steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.

Ponomarenko could be stopped here, if Ruano can find the right shot!  Ruano crashes a big left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  PONOMARENKO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ruano!
