Carlos Britto vs Diego Laura

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/03/2037 from Manta, Ecuador:

The Manta venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Britto (3 - 5) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Diego Laura(25 - 14) from Quito, Ecuador.  

Round 1: 

Laura hits home with a left hook.

Laura is looking to close the distance.  Laura voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Britto throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
