Gaylord Guitry vs Neve Mechelen

Boxing Daily Report from the Belgium National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/03/2037 from Antwerp, Belgium:

The Antwerp venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gaylord Guitry (13 - 5) who hails from Charleroi, Belgium and Neve Mechelen(5 - 1) from Ghent, Belgium.  

Round 1: 

Mechelen pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Guitry's body.  
Mechelen forces Guitry to back into the ropes.  Mechelen contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Guitry is on target with a jab.  
Mechelen feints a jab, fooling Guitry into launching a cross counter.  Mechelen springs the trap and counters with  a stinging right hook.  
Mechelen feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Guitry closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Guitry manages to force Mechelen onto the ropes.  Guitry quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Mechelen steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mechelen steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Mechelen tries to land an overhand right, but Guitry slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Mechelen is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Guitry lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Guitry throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Guitry is looking to close the distance and forces Mechelen to retreat onto the ropes.  Mechelen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mechelen steps away from his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.
