Oliver Lay vs Steven Tolmie

Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2037,  taking place on 11/03/2037 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Oliver Lay (19 - 8) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Steven Tolmie(22 - 3) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Lay lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tolmie advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Lay clinches his opponent.  Tolmie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Lay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tolmie is looking to close the distance.  Tolmie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tolmie tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a WICKED left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE TOLMIE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Tolmie quickly recovers.

Lay is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lay sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.

Lay sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Tolmie gets on the inside.  Lay digs in a firm left hook to Tolmie's body.  Lay ties up his opponent.  Tolmie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Tolmie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tolmie about fouling.

Lay lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.
