Angel Alarcon vs Selestino Villela

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/03/2037 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Alarcon (35 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Selestino Villela(0 - 0) from San Diego, USA.  

Round 1: 

Alarcon feints a left hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Alarcon closes the distance.  Alarcon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Villela finds the target with a jab.  
Alarcon gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Alarcon lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Alarcon lands a left hook.  
Alarcon lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Villela lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Alarcon steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Alarcon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Alarcon lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Alarcon lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alarcon's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Alarcon is on target with a sharp right hook.  Alarcon throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Villela's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Alarcon snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Alarcon advances into close range.  Villela connects with a left hook.  
Alarcon lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Alarcon throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Alarcon is on target with a sharp cross.  
Alarcon connects with a right hook.  
Alarcon digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Alarcon gets on the inside and forces Villela to back into a corner.  Villela is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Alarcon holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Alarcon pushes his forearm into Villela's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Alarcon about fouling.  
Villela drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Alarcon lands a jab.  
Villela switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Alarcon pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Villela's body.  
Alarcon steps inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Alarcon walks Villela down, trapping him on the ropes.  Alarcon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Alarcon lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Alarcon clinches his opponent.  Alarcon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Alarcon throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Alarcon holds on to his opponent.  Villela tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Alarcon behind the head. Villela leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Alarcon gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.

Alarcon advances into close range and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Alarcon manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Alarcon drives a firm left hook into Villela's ribs.  Alarcon throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.
