Ian Pearce vs James Snodgrass

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/03/2037 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Pearce (10 - 12) who hails from Cairns, Australia and James Snodgrass(0 - 4) from Perth, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Pearce digs in a stinging left hook to Snodgrass's ribs.  
Snodgrass steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Pearce's body.  
Pearce pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Pearce tries to keep the action at long range.  Pearce circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Snodgrass tries to land an overhand right, but Pearce parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Snodgrass closes the distance.  Pearce digs in a right uppercut to Snodgrass's body.  
Pearce switches the action to the outside.  Pearce sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Snodgrass gets on the inside and walks Pearce onto the ropes.  Snodgrass hits home with a right hook.  
Pearce lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pearce steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Pearce throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Snodgrass is on target with a right hook.  
Pearce tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand right.

Pearce lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Pearce hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Pearce tries to keep the action at long range and lands a stiff jab.  
Snodgrass advances into close range.  Pearce lands a left hook.  
Pearce digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Pearce is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Snodgrass lands a right uppercut.  Pearce ties up his opponent.  Pearce pushes his forearm into Snodgrass's face.  The ref breaks Pearce's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Pearce feints a cross, and then is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Snodgrass closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Pearce ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pearce pushes his forearm into Snodgrass's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pearce about fouling.  
Pearce feints a jab, and then is on target with a jab.  
Pearce steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Snodgrass hits home with a cross.  
Snodgrass manages to force Pearce onto the ropes.  Pearce hits home with a solid left hook.  
Pearce tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp jab.  
Pearce lands a solid cross.  
Pearce is looking to keep his distance.  Pearce feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left.  
Snodgrass lands a right hook.  
Snodgrass hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Snodgrass walks Pearce down, trapping him on the ropes.  Snodgrass throws a left hook, but Pearce ties up his opponent.  Snodgrass pushes his forearm into Pearce's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Snodgrass to stop fouling.
