Rob Craib vs David Nicolson

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/02/2037 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (50(3) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and David Nicolson(0 - 3) from Montgomery, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib gets on the inside.  Nicolson throws a right uppercut, but Craib ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Craib pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Craib is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Nicolson throws a left hook, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nicolson's kidney. The ref breaks Craib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Craib throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib manages to force Nicolson into the corner.  Nicolson throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Craib lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Craib is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Nicolson throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Craib manages to force Nicolson into the corner.  Craib lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Craib is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Craib sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Craib advances into close range.  Craib pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Craib pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib pushes his forearm into Nicolson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Craib drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Craib manages to force Nicolson onto the ropes.  Nicolson hits home with a left hook.  
Craib is on target with a sharp right hook to Nicolson's ribcage.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Craib attempts to land a jab, but Nicolson blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Craib is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Nicolson tries to step out of his opponents range.  Craib hits home with an overhand right.  
Craib closes the distance.  Craib pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Nicolson steps away from his opponent.  Nicolson feints a left hook, and then lands a firm overhand right.  Nicolson throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Craib steps inside and lands a solid left hook.  Craib attempts to land a left hook, but Nicolson slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Round 2: 

Craib steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Nicolson is whaling away with hooks, but Craib keeps his defence tight.  Nicolson lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Craib switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Craib senses Nicolson is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Craib digs in a potent left uppercut to Nicolson's body.  NICOLSON IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Craib lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND NICOLSON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Nicolson has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Craib switches the action to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a jab.  
Craib lands a spiteful jab.  
Craib connects with an overhand right.  Craib throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Craib connects with a right hook.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.
