John Oswald vs George Kearney

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/02/2037 from Macon, USA:

The Macon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Oswald (36 - 10) who hails from Augusta, USA and George Kearney(1 - 13(1)) from Warren, USA.  

Round 1: 

Oswald finds the target with a solid jab.

Oswald steps inside.  Oswald pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kearney throws a left hook, but Oswald holds on to his opponent.  Kearney tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Oswald's kidney. 
Oswald closes the distance.  Kearney digs in a left uppercut to Oswald's body.  
Oswald walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Oswald sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Kearney gets on the inside.  Oswald drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Oswald advances into close range and digs in a stinging right hook to Kearney's ribs.  Oswald ties up his opponent.  Oswald pushes his forearm into Kearney's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Oswald.  
Oswald is on target with a left hook.  
Kearney cuts off the ring, trapping Oswald on the ropes.  Oswald drives a sharp right hook into Kearney's body.  
Oswald is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
