Alen Riley vs Dale Morris

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/02/2037 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alen Riley (50 - 4) who hails from Boston, USA and Dale Morris(0 - 1) from Huntsville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Morris tries to keep the action at long range and drives a jab into Riley's body.  
Riley gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  Riley ties up his opponent.  Morris leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Riley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Riley lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Riley steps inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Morris steps away from his opponent.  Morris sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Riley lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Riley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Morris switches the action to the outside.  Riley tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Riley steps inside.  Riley pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Riley closes the distance.  Riley pivots to the left of his opponent.  Morris throws a right uppercut, but Riley holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Riley pushes his forearm into Morris's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Riley connects with a right uppercut.  
Morris is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Riley connects with a cross.  
Riley advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Riley hits home with a right hook.  
Riley pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Riley pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Riley steps inside.  Morris throws a left hook, but Riley clinches his opponent.  Riley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Morris hits home with a cross.  
Riley strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Riley advances into close range.  Riley pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Riley forces Morris to retreat into the corner.  Morris is on target with a right hook.  
Riley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Riley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Riley's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.
