Wayne Lockie vs Rob Ewart

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/01/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Wayne Lockie (23 - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Rob Ewart(0 - 3) from Baltimore, USA.

Ewart walks Lockie onto the ropes.  Ewart sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Lockie lands a jab to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Lockie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lockie feints a jab, and then is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Lockie feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Lockie lands with a solid jab.  
Lockie hits home with a cross.  
Ewart throws a left hook, but Lockie holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lockie pushes his forearm into Ewart's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
