Rob Craib vs Billy Rei

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/01/2037 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (49(2) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Billy Rei(0 - 7) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib steps inside and digs in a firm right uppercut to Rei's body.  
Craib steps to the outside.  Craib sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Craib gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Craib steps inside.  Craib steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Rei attempts to land a left uppercut, but Craib sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Rei attempts to land a left uppercut, but Craib slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Rei throws a left hook, but Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib pushes his forearm into Rei's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Craib lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Craib hits home with a solid right hook.  
Craib lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Craib gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Craib lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rei throws a right hook, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Craib lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Craib lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Craib hits home with a solid jab.  
Craib attempts to land a jab, but Rei slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Craib digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Craib gets on the inside.  Rei pivots to the side of his opponent.  Rei throws a right uppercut, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Rei uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Craib's kidney. 
Craib connects with a cross.  
Craib advances into close range.  Rei throws a left uppercut, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Rei pushes his forearm into Craib's face.  The referee warns Rei and breaks the clinch.  
Rei throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Craib finds the target with a jab.  
Rei gets on the inside.  Craib connects with a left hook.  
Rei throws a left hook, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Rei's kidney. 
Craib lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.

Craib lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Craib gets on the inside.  Rei tries to land a right hook, but Craib slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Craib lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Craib strikes his opponents body with a stinging cross.  
Rei sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rei throws a left hook, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Craib pushes his forearm into Rei's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Craib.

Rei pivots to the left of his opponent, but Craib lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Rei steps inside.  Rei sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND SENDS REI TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Rei is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Craib!
