Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/01/2037 from Paris, France:

The Paris venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roy Flores (15 - 13) who hails from Paris, France and Dave Gowans(1 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Flores steps to the outside and lands a stiff jab.

Flores stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Gowans attempts to land a jab, but Flores sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Flores sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Flores sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Flores feints a right hook, and then lands a ramrod jab.  
Gowans lands an overhand right.  
Flores lands a hard jab.  
Gowans steps inside.  Gowans pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Gowans closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Flores slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Gowans advances into close range.  Gowans quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Flores lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gowans steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Gowans sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Flores throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Flores clinches his opponent.  Gowans is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Gowans and breaks the clinch.  
Flores lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Flores steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Flores feints a cross, but Gowans does not fall for it and lands with a solid right uppercut.  
Gowans gets on the inside and walks Flores down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Gowans is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Flores tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.
