Nasario Cancel vs Zelipe Mascorro

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/12/2036 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nasario Cancel (21 - 8) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Zelipe Mascorro(3 - 9) from Reynosa, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Cancel steps to the outside and drives a jab into Mascorro's body.  Cancel attempts to land a cross, but Mascorro slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Mascorro manouvers Cancel onto the ropes.  Mascorro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cancel throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Cancel clinches his opponent.  Mascorro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cancel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cancel about fouling.  
Cancel digs in a solid right hook to Mascorro's ribs.  
Mascorro lands a left hook.  
Mascorro closes the distance.  Mascorro pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mascorro goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Cancel time to recover.  
Mascorro pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Mascorro is looking to close the distance.  Mascorro pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cancel connects with a right hook.  Cancel holds on to his opponent.  Mascorro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
