Shinji Hayakawa vs Inigo Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/11/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Hayakawa (6(2) - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Inigo Smith(7 - 23) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Smith cuts off the ring, trapping Hayakawa in the corner.  Smith throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Smith steps away from his opponent.  Hayakawa is on target with a stinging cross.  
Smith sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents body.

Hayakawa closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Hayakawa gets on the inside.  Hayakawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hayakawa lands a cross to Smith's body.  
Hayakawa gets on the inside.  Hayakawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Smith throws a right hook, but Hayakawa ties up his opponent.  Hayakawa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Smith's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hayakawa.  
Hayakawa connects with a right uppercut.  
Hayakawa is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hayakawa digs in a left hook to Smith's ribs.  Hayakawa ties up his opponent.  Hayakawa pushes his forearm into Smith's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hayakawa about fouling.  
Hayakawa lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Hayakawa gets on the inside.  Smith throws a right hook, but Hayakawa holds on to his opponent.  Smith leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hayakawa lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hayakawa manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Hayakawa connects with a right hook.  Hayakawa throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Smith's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Hayakawa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Smith behind the head. Smith leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hayakawa steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Smith's ribcage.
